Garret is a focused and driven attorney who believes in working clearly and effectively with his clients to provide the highest level of service. Garret understands that the legal processes can be overwhelming, and he works diligently to provide transparent communication in order to achieve the best result possible.
Before joining SW Portland Law Group, Garret worked at a foreclosure firm and, most recently, at a class action administration company where he assisted claimants obtain their class action awards on hundreds of matters.

Garret earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Missouri.
Garret earned his JD at the University of Missouri—Columbia School of Law, where his studies focused on contracts, transactional law, and conflict resolution. During law school, Garret was the Assistant VP of Communications for the Tax & Transactional Law Society, competed in the Transactional Law Competition, participated in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, was an Admissions Ambassador, and worked as a law clerk at Bley & Evans, LC.
As a law clerk, Garret conducted legal research and memo drafting for a multitude of civil litigation issues and business concerns. Additionally, Garret was tasked with reviewing and drafting responses to negotiation documents and court filings.
