Lindsey N. Daniel
Associate Attorney
Education
Lindsey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts. She earned her JD from Lewis & Clark Law School.
During her time at law school, Lindsey focused her studies on business law. As a member of the Small Business Legal Clinic, she served low-income small and emerging business owners. Lindsey was also Lead Article Editor for the Lewis & Clark Law Review.
Practice Areas & Experience
Lindsey takes a client-focused approach to legal representation. She prides herself in her ability to take the guesswork out of complex legal issues to help her clients achieve their goals.
Prior to her time at Southwest Portland Law Group, Lindsey represented small and mid-sized business owners as they navigated the ever-changing and complex legal regulations of the Oregon cannabis market. Through this experience, she gained perspective into how complicated regulations can add to the myriad stresses already faced by clients in their day-to-day lives. This allowed her to realize that while her legal expertise is vital, much of her value as an effective attorney comes from the peace of mind her clients get knowing that she has competently handled their legal issues so that they can focus on living their lives and operating their businesses.
After witnessing her business clients lose their hard-earned assets due to market failure, Lindsey became motivated to expand her practice into estate planning in order to advise clients on how best to protect their assets and plan for their futures. While she will be the first to admit that there is no way to plan for everything (if only!), she is a strong proponent of planning today for a better result tomorrow.
